THE WHAT? Korean duty-free retailer Lotte has launched a new live shopping, LDF Live, which hosted its first show yesterday, as it looks to diversify the sales channel for duty free goods. 

THE DETAILS The shopping channel was hosted by Lotte Duty Free CEO Lee Gap and presented by Choi Wook-nam, Jeonghana and a Lotte Home Shopping Show Host, and offers viewers up to 50 percent off fashion items. 

Said to be the first step in a new duty-free channel for the retailer, Lotte is looking to use live data in order to tailor products on sale to consumer demand.
