Extension & refurbishment of live shopping centre in Solihull
Working within a live shopping mall the works were in 3 phases, delivering an enlarged retail space for Poundland.
Phase one: involved the diversion of the existing services and sewers below the new extension.
Phase two: provided new loading bays for M&S, reoriented to allow wagon access around the new extension.
Phase three: involved the construction of a new two-story steel structure linked to the existing concrete structure to provide retail pace, with new shop fronts installed onto the existing mall.
All done whilst maintaining uninterrupted access to the other shop fronts…
