Shopping in Thailand can be frustrating for a foreigner.

Western products and brands are inevitably harder to find than back home (and occasionally totally absent), customer service is strained across the language barrier, and prices can be both insanely cheap and hilariously expensive (we’re looking at you, bell peppers) compared to what you’re used to.
